To many small and medium-sized entities the Czech Republic represents a very appealing production site within the EU. A new joint study prepared by the Kienbaum management consultancy and the German-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry called „Unternehmen in Tschechien: Leitende Angestellte und Mitarbeiter» sheds light on salaries paid in this Eastern part of the European Union.
Whereas managing directors are paid 258.000 Euros annually in Germany, they are paid only about 82.000 Euros, if they work as managing directors for the branches of international companies in the Czech Republic. However, salaries are beginning to rise.
