According to preliminary figures provided by the European Statistical Office (Eurostat), prices in the Eurozone (EZ15) increased by 2.1% in November this year as compared to the same month in 2007. In October this year the annual inflation rate had been at 3.2%. Final figures will be available on December 17th. The above preliminary figures were calculated on the basis of data which some member states have already made available and on the basis of information on energy prices.
