Under the slogan “Mittelstand interaktiv” the German internet award this year takes places for the ninth time. At the end of this year’s competition the German Association for Information Management, Telecommunications and New Media, BITKOM, will award „innovative approaches which were tried and tested in practice“. The three winners will receive price money to the total amount of 60.000 Euros. Small and medium-sized companies (SMS) may apply until August 1st 2008. An independent jury will then select up to nine finalists.
The winners will be awarded on November 6th in Stuttgart. The award ceremony will be part of the 4th German congress of SMEs from the field of information and telecommunication technology. BITKOM expect that numerous leading figures from economy and science will attend this congress. Detailed information on participation is available online.
