The winners of the “Innovators’ Pitch 2007” competition are Colamo and Amiando. These two companies were elected at the CeBIT show by the German Association for Information Management, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM) and the Initiative Mobile City. More than 40 companies participated in this competition.
The Hamburg based Colamo.org which won in the »Mobile Content» category offers an open-source software for mobile telephones. This software enables standardized applications and data such as contact details, videos and images to be transferred onto mobile telephones – irrespective of the phone model used. The Munich based Amiando.de won in the »Digital Life�? category. This company operates an online platform on which on can easily plan and manage invitiations to private, business and public events for free thereby leading to the creation of communities which facilitate the communication of all the people involved.
