500 companies with appreciation of families already interconnected

The more serious the lack of skilled personnel, the more companies realize that they have to ensure the compatibility of the personal and professional lives of their employees in order to find enough specialists and to hold them. This fact is underlined by the resonance with which the “Success factor family” network has been welcomed, says the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK).

Four months after the network initiated by the Federal Minister for families, Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen, and DIHK chairman Ludwig Georg Braun was launched, with the joining of the IT service provider Datev the network recently reached a membership of 500. About fifty percent of member companies count less than 50 employees and administrative institutions and goods-producing companies account for 20% of members each. By the middle of this year the ambitious objective of the DIHK is to increase the network’s membership to 1000. In order to reach this objective, small and medium-sized entities will be particularly courted.

The exchange of experience between members takes places via the internet and membership is for free. It is also possible to register online.
